Puertas de Babel
$25,000.00
“Puertas de Babel” is a visual reckoning—a tower frozen mid-rise, a gate to human ambition and divine interruption. Painted with fractured golds, smoky grays, and architectural strokes that stretch upward then splinter, this piece holds the tension between unity and pride, language and legacy.
Inspired by Genesis 11:9 — “That is why it was called Babel—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world,” — Lady Picasa explores what it means to build without spirit. The gates stand tall, yet incomplete, a monument to what happens when we reach without reverence.
“Puertas de Babel” is a conversation.
Between heaven and hubris.
Between what we construct—and what remains.
Only one exists.
A gate not to enter, but to reflect.
